Laketrails (and up around the islands) has been the only place I have ever felt I was truly home. I miss it deeply as I have been gone a long time. I believe there are many who feel the same. It isn't only the beauty of it all, but the joy of sharing everything from a smile, laughter and conversation, to a campfire and a peace-filled sky...and time for one's self as well...to search and question and learn and grow from one's own heart and soul. I believe Laketrails is where Hope lives, always has been, and always will.
